Complete LOG_aLevel monitoring station for Ship induced waves investigation. The system was installed over a period of a few months at the river Elbe, south of Hamburg.
It autonomously monitored water level and waves of all passing vessels, meteorological parameters (wind speed & direction, current flow, and all vessels were recorded) by video, AIS and Radar.
LOG_aLevel was powered by solar cells & a wind turbine. Data were transmitted to office with GPRS and Radio.
