New Measuring Stations in Coastal Areas of Venezuela

The project scope is the installation of Seven multi-purpose measuring stations, in order to strengthen the measuring system of tide patterns and thus contribute to the consolidation and expansion of the environmental monitoring system of the Coastal areas of the country.

This monitoring system will allow area supervisors to respond to measurement variations influenced by climatic and social factors. It will also allow access point planners to locate and design future points according to changing conditions.

The companies Unit Export Limited (UK), Consultation Engineering Incostas S.A.(VEN), General Acoustics e.K. and KV Engineering Consultants, Projects and Works (ES) participated in this project, where General Acoustics delivered LOG_aLevel Tide Stations, ADCPs, CTDs, and Meteorological Stations.
